Our Food Pantry Ministry at Church of Southland is dedicated to serving our community through food, prayer, and evangelism. We meet every 2nd and 4th Saturday to provide essential food and spiritual support to those in need, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re in need of assistance or feel called to volunteer, we invite you to join us in making a difference!
Commitment:
~4-6hrs; 2nd and 4th Saturday (8AM-12PM) of every month
Roles:
Our Food Pantry Ministry at Church of Southland is dedicated to serving our community through food, prayer, and evangelism. We meet every 2nd and 4th Saturday to provide essential food and spiritual support to those in need, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re in need of assistance or feel called to volunteer, we invite you to join us in making a difference!
Commitment:
~4-6hrs; 2nd and 4th Saturday (8AM-12PM) of every month
Roles:
- Food Pantry Lead | Assist with shopping and preparing dry goods to be packed for distribution later in the week; Help pick up perishable food donations from partner organizations and transport them to the church; Unload food deliveries, organize items, and prepare the pantry for Saturday’s distribution
- Food Pantry Volunteer | Assist with check-in, signage, food distribution, traffic flow, refreshments, and/or supporting our EV team.
Requirements:
Regular Sunday Service attendance
Current Need:
Food Pantry Lead (Fridays (11AM-2PM) and (5:30PM-7PM))
